Experimental Farm

WORLDPATHOL is managing a biosafety level 2 farm at Mediana de Aragón (Aragón, Spain) integrated into the growth strategy around biotechnological R&D. The farm is the first private mixed-type experimental large animal breeding centre where a fully controlled mixed production cycle can be available to test and contrast new drugs, besides of nutritional and chemical treatments.

The farm is equipped with all biosafety measures required to fully comply European Stardards on breeding and experimental uses of large animals.

This pioneering farm provide the company and its customers with a unique space to test drugs and ensure the viability of complete cycles for the care and treatment of large animals.

A new BSL3 facility is coming soon, to complete the range of services available with challenge test for large animals. Recycling modular station EMRA first prototype is installed at Mediana as well, reducing slurry enviromental impact to minimum. Maintaining one of the basic pillars of the group, which is to obtain a sustainable installation with renewable and non-polluting energy.
