WorldPathol is immersed in one of the most complicated and exciting challenges that has ever been posed; the use and conversion of animal manure into a high sustainable added value. EMRA is a recycling modular biotechnological platform that processes and transforms slurry directly in the farm.

EMRA is a sustainable, replicable and transferable system for the control of emissions (up to 85%), erase of antibiotic resistance plasmid and removal of heavy metals from slurry. EMRA is based on circular and green economy principles, with special emphasis on agronomic valorisation, to create a new phytorremediator.

Recycling Modular Station EMRA is a patented platform (P35259EP00) for the processing and transformation of animal waste. In particular, it refers to a modular biotechnological platform for the on-site recycling and transformation of slurry.

EMRA allows obtaining new nutrients for animal feed and contaminant-free phytoremediators with high added value for agricultural and natural soil amendments. It performs the biological fixation of 10 to 95% of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in slurry and prevents the emission of 50 to 85% of greenhouse gases from the farm. It is a sustainable, replicable and transferable system for the control of emissions, erase of antibiotic resistance plasmid and removal of heavy metals from slurry.
